We work to empower, encourage and enlighten those who are visually impaired.

A message from the President of CVVICS

Barbara Hanson Foyil

I am happy to introduce my friends to a new foundation serving the blind and visually impaired community in the Coachella Valley.

If you receive an invite on Facebook, check it out. If for some reason you do not receive an invite just go to CVVICS  (Coachella Valley Visually Impaired Community Services).

It is my pleasure to have been elected President of this wonderful, dedicated team of individuals who wish to support this newly formed charity. There is much to be done for both adults, children, and teens in our valley who are visually impaired or blind.

Our first classes began on January 7, 2020, at the Joslyn Center in Palm Desert, CA.

We need volunteers and donors to help us meet the demands of this population.
